Polyelectrolytes are used as flocculation aid in water
treatment systems (potable, industrial and waste water).
Most polyelectrolytes are available as dry chemicals.
Prior to use they must be dissolved.
To utilise the full efficiency of this chemical certain
conditions during preparation of these solutions and
during metering have to be observed. A perfect polyelectrolyte
unit is characterised by an efficient jet spray disperser
and a suitable aging system.
The packaged units are adapted to the dissolving characteristics
of the product and incorporate all components for the
dosing of the dry chemicals, their wetting, dissolving and aging.
